About Our GroupThe Oak Lawn Cedar Springs Crime Watch is a group of concerned residents and business owners who meet with officers from Central and Northwest Dallas Police divisions to discuss neighborhood issues. The officers provide up-to-date crime statistics and inform us of developing trends and individual incidents occurring in our area. We meet at noon on the third Wednesday of each month at the Oak Lawn branch of the Dallas Library. Our meetings are open to everyone and are regularly attended by members of other city departments in addition to the police. Our meeting lasts for one hour, but attendees are encouraged to remain to discuss individual issues with city staff afterwards. We usually have lunch provided by a sponsor and a guest speaker to address issues identified by group members. Our group is Co-sponsored by the Oak Lawn Library.
