Our Goals
The goal of DallasCrimeWatch.org is to provide a clearing house for the
community to compile crime watch connection information and resources
including government and law enforcement communications between the public
and a connection mechanism between crime watch leaders and their local
communities.
-
Our History
OakLawnCrimeWatch.org was founded in 1999 as a clearing house for information and a
connection link between large and small crime watch groups and organizations in the
Oak Lawn and Cedar Springs area of Dallas by Kevin Ward. The site quickly became popular
among local community and crime watch leaders, politicians and the police department.
Local neighborhood periodicals ran stories about the fledgling little site and after
several years of growth and popularity became the DallasCrimeWatch.org website
connecting crime watch groups across the Dallas metroplex.
The site continues to improve and grow today and was professionally redesigned by a
world class web designer with EzDEV.COM in 2008-2009.
